After graduating from CU in 2008, Alex Kanzler had two liberal arts degrees, a mailbox full of corporate job offers (yeah right), and zero interest in wearing a suit. So, he followed the pull back to what felt real—winemaking.

His journey has taken him through cellars in California, Oregon, and New Zealand. Nearly 20 vintages later, he’s earned his place as one of California’s top next-gen winemakers. His family’s winery, Kanzler Vineyards, is a go-to name for Pinot lovers, and his wines (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc) regularly pull 90+ point scores and high praise from the biggest critics in the country.

Alex met his wife, Breauna, at CU, and together with two of their best friends, they dreamed up Sko Bubbs, because Boulder, the Buffs, and popping bottles deserve something a little more meaningful than just another drink.

Adam graduated CU Boulder in 2006 with a Bachelors in Environmental Design and later earned his Master’s in Elementary Education from CU Denver. A modern renaissance man, Adam has worked in the classroom, for a national fraternity, as a snowboard instructor, a custom craftsman and most recently in real estate development and sales. Adam married his CU sweetheart Leah (a Nurse Practitioner), and they live in Denver with their three children.  Adam is a certified “fun captain” and when he’s not out promoting Sko Bubbs you can find him rock climbing, camping, hiking, noodling, rollerskating, snowboarding and thrift shopping all around the great state of Colorado.

Josh graduated CU Boulder in 2006with a degree in Biology. An entrepreneur at heart, after college Josh headed back to his home state of Texas where he founded Align Foundation Repair with his brother Jason. He continues to serve as President of Align and also dabbles in housing development, real estate, pest management and start-up winery investment (SKO BUBBS!). Josh is a killer musician (slappa da base), an avid snowboarder and a weekend warrior ice hockey player. Thanks to his much more sophisticated (and much better looking) wife Blaire, he also enjoys the finer things in life such as dining out, fancy cooking at home, lake life, visits to wine country and international travel. Josh and Blaire live in Dallas, Texas with their labrador Willie.
